Hey, everyone! Thanks for joining me here at Illustrious Illusions today!

Ever since Unexpected Eden released at the end of December, pretty much all of the posts and questions I’ve answered have been centered on the topic of Eden—everything from the race that lives there (Myrens), their amazing powers, and the spectacular visuals a visitor could expect to find.

Well, the heroine, Lexi Merrill, might have found out she’s a lost Myren and landed herself a permanent resident card in paradise, but that doesn’t mean she still doesn’t love lots of things about the human realm. So, when she found out I was visiting today, she suggested I talk about something on our side of the portal instead of leaking yet more secrets from the land of creation.

Now, Lexi was a bartender long before she met Eryx. I figured, four years schlepping drinks had to have built a pretty impressive drink repertoire, so I asked her, “Which drink best represents your life since meeting Eryx?”

I should have expected the answer. Our Lexi’s a sharp gal and never misses a quick comeback.

Here’s what she gave me…

The Alice in Wonderland

She actually shared a few options—one for those of you more focused on gettin’ down to business, and one for those of you who like to sip and enjoy.

The Shooter

1 ounce Grand Marnier Orange Liqueur

2/3 ounce (or 20 ml) of chilled Reposado Tequila

· Pour the Grand Marnier Orange Liqueur in a shot glass.

· Position a spoon over the top of the shot glass and poor Reposado Tequila over the back.

· Salute your friends & tell them you’ll see them on the other side.

· Chug.

The Sipper

1 ounce Southern Comfort

1 ounce Amaretto Almond Liqueur

1 ounce Grand Marnier Orange Liqueur

1 Orange Wedge

· Mix all four together in shaker with ice.

· Shake well. (Lexi recommends adding a few dance moves to increase tips.)

· Strain into an ice filled rocks glass.

· Garnish with orange wedge.

· Sip your way into a whole new world.

So, there you go! Two otherworldly options from a woman who’s taken her own trip down the bunny hole. I hope you’ll pick up a copy of Unexpected Eden so you can join in the fun and romance too.
