Review ~ 

This review is difficult for me to put into words.  It's one of those stories that sticks with you just enough to make you wonder at the right words to use to describe the story.  The one thing I can say is the relationship between Evelyn and Mateo is definitely a 'don't judge a book by its cover' type of scenario.  I also have a weakness for MMA stories and in that aspect, Once Perfect did not disappoint.

Mateo is a bad boy fighter while Evelyn was a pampered princess who has fallen on hard times.  She is still a bit naive, and not quite ready for Mateo, but no one can deny the spark that's there even though they try. 

Mateo and Evelyn both have demons in their past that need to be fought, if not conquered, before there is any possibility of a HEA.  So Once Perfect gives us a wonderful mixture of passion, drama, action and even a little suspense as we go on a rocky journey with the characters.  I can't wait to see what the next book, Once Loved, has to offer.  A 4 Star story for sure that will keep you engrossed in the story of Mateo and Evelyn .
