Sawyer Bennett gives us two very different characters that are easy to relate to and become invested in. Alex is the first character I've read that hates playing hockey. It's his career and he hates it - who can't relate to that? Sutton on the other hand, is very passionate about her career as a counselor but working with Alex may change her mind!
Alex and Sutton have a lot of hurdles to jump as they uncover good and bad about each other. Their pasts have shaped them into who they are today and some issues must be resolved before the bumps in the road become too much for them to handle.
Alex is a passionate and emotional story that has some humor, heat, and love all rolled together. Sawyer Bennett gives us a strong story that is compelling and one of my top reads of the year. Pick it up today and enjoy it!
