Review ~

Sail Away with Me is a sweet romance with a few steamy bits.  I must admit I think one of my favorite things about Sail Away with Me is that the characters are older. While younger characters have their place, it is nice to read about a single mom who is in her early 30's and her friends as they embark on an adventure and lives change.

While you have drama and issues both individually and together with Jody & Taggart, you don't have the agonizing angst of a new adult genre read which is a refreshing change.  The issues these characters face and relatable to an average reader (in my humble opinion). Jody deals with her aging father, pre-teen son, and mooching ex while trying to figure out her feelings for Taggart.  While Taggart deals with his career issues, his agent and understanding Jody as he life takes some drastic turns.

Sail Away with me is a great story to take you away from the cold and enjoy a cruise ship romance with 4 best friends and their mid-life issues!  Highly recommended for a relaxing tail that might hit closer to home than you think.

COCKTAIL RECIPES:

Orgasm recipe:

1/2 oz white crème de cacao
1/2 oz amaretto almond liquor
1/2 oz triple sec
1/2 oz vodka
1 oz light cream

Shake all ingredients with ice, strain into a chilled cocktail glass, and serve.

Screaming Orgasm recipe:

1 oz vodka
1 1/2 oz Bailey's® Irish cream
1/2 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur

Pour first vodka, then Bailey's, then Kahlua into a cocktail glass over crushed ice. Stir.
