Take Me, Break Me
Genre: BDSM & Capture fantasy
Jodie is scraping the barrel trying to stay afloat. An idea arrives that could rescue her finances and bring her together in a kinky way with a man she never gave up on. She's terrified and fascinated, and tempted as hell.
Capture fantasies rule her eBook. Re-enacting one in a documentary would surely be irresistible viewing to millions of women?
But Jodie and Klaus discover that underneath an ordinary man dark desires may lurk. What will win in the end? The man and lover, or the monster?
Warning: Capture fantasy; dubious consent; anal play; M/f as well as one m/f/f/m scene; BDSM themes including caning, spanking, bondage, and needle play. Also contains one beginner Dom who is exploring sadism but is still working out how and when to stop.
Bind and Keep Me, Book 2
How far would you go to protect your love and your life?
When two deaths turn his world upside down, Klaus must wrestle with a problem that goes soul deep. With Jodie it was capture fantasy but now he’s made the fantasy real, dragging her along as his accomplice. No one should feel so good about something so wrong.
Maybe his soul is darker than he feared. Maybe the rules shouldn't apply to him.
Warning: Dark erotica, Mff with BDSM themes, capture fantasy, and dubious consent.
Contains spanking, bondage, caning and piercing, and one alpha possessive man about to toss aside his morals and take what he wants.
Since I was lucky enough to read both books close together, I decided to do a double review with NO SPOILERS! This won't be long or easy due to the no spoilers ;) The books definitely have to be read in order. Don't go skipping around or you'll miss some damn good stuff.
Both books get 10 inch reviews from us ~ As you can see with our new policy that's equal to 5 Stars. . . I thought about making a special 12 inch review just for books that are this special, but that might be a little too much! LOL
Now, pay attention to Cari's warnings with both books! They are there for a reason and very important if you have triggers that make you turn away from a book. These books contain ff play, needles, menage of multiple sorts, non-consent and dubious consent situations, and a super sexy sadistic alpha male. . . *swoon*
Cari has given us Jodie and Klaus who are strong characters with fantasies that go beyond what some might consider normal. But as they figure them out together, things might just take a turn in a direction neither of them was prepared for. There are many reason to fall in love with these characters and the insight that is given into each one really makes a reader wonder what might happen or how they might react if presented with a similar situation.
When you pick up book 2, Bind and Keep Me, Jodie and Klaus are still with you which is wonderful. Their story while finished in Take Me, Break Me leaves you wanting more. Let's just say you get it with gusto when you continue their story. And Cari Silverwood makes you think again, would you or someone you love go as far as Jodie and Klaus do to protect the ones you love?
Both books will take you on a dark journey that feels so good it can't be wrong. The characters will capture your heart and force you to join them on their journey into the darkest corners of their minds and make you enjoy it.
I readily admit to a massive book hangover after both of these books. I am eternally grateful that I read them close together, but they did ruin me for a time. It was very difficult to read anything else for a few days as I had to go back and re~read pieces of each book. I just couldn't let Jodie and Klaus go. Cari Silverwood has created characters and stories that will never be forgotten ~ and when you read 300 books a year, this kind of book is difficult to come by.
If you are looking for dark erotica, BDSM, capture fantasy ~ get these books now!! LOL . . . If you are looking to try something out of the norm, and want characters that you can laugh with, cry with, and that will take a piece of your heart ~ pick up these books today!!
